Synopsis
After being released from prison, mob boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he builds a new criminal empire with a group of unlikely characters.. The opening credits sequence shows various photographic and painted views and landmarks of Oklahoma imposed on the New York City landscape: A statue of Sioux Indian Chief “Touch the Clouds” wearing a war bonnet and bone necklace (armor) imposed on top of the Brooklyn Bridge.

I’ve loved Tulsa King so far
I actually love everything Taylor Sheridan does, so I knew it would be no different. This is a fun cop show that knows exactly what it wants to be and you can tell the cast, led by Sylvester Stallone, is having a blast making it happen. It’s about a New York mob boss named Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone) who is released from prison after 25 years.
It’s obviously doing well because it’s already been renewed for a second season, which is great news!
He thinks he’s being welcomed back as a hero, but instead is sent to Tulsa to run things. After not feeling the love from his gang like he should have, he starts building his own in Tulsa. Some parts might seem a little silly, but overall it’s a really good show that’s definitely worth watching.
