Synopsis
Need a lawyer? He runs his law firm from his Lincoln and is ready to put his foot down. As he moves around Los Angeles, he takes on cases while balancing his personal life, which includes fatherhood and living with two ex-wives.

CBS was originally slated for a series commitment in 2020, but it was canceled shortly before filming the first episode. to COVID. Netflix has now picked it up for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book, The Brass Verdict.

Personalized California plates allow a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all Mickey plates have a minimum of eight.. A drug-rehabilitated lawyer with two ex-wives, a daughter, and a passion for cars becomes embroiled in a high-profile case after the death of a friend. This includes a case study and more side cases than it can handle.
This intriguing premise creates a promising backdrop for a legal drama
The drama takes this, adds a strong cast, well-crafted and acted dialogue and an interesting plot and moves along at a good pace. Some of the camera settings are clunky, especially the vari-focus shots with some orange tinge, but overall it works as intended. Mickey’s chauffeur, Izzy, is often used as an explanatory plot device, but while it is obvious, it feels natural and fits the narrative.
This is consistently engaging, entertaining and fun – highly recommended
