When the glass is shown at her feet, she is wearing socks
Synopsis
After witnessing a bizarre and traumatic incident involving a patient, a psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is being menaced by a strange entity behind the plate, dead, motionless and smiling as it stares at the camera, motionless despite fans in the audience being understandably concerned, while wearing Smile shirts. Another soon appeared in the background with the crowd during the Today show. At about 31 minutes in, Rose breaks a glass as the alarm goes off.
The eyesore: Because your mind is so appealing
A few seconds later, as she checks the door, she is wearing lace-up shoes. Depending on what happens later at a party, there are several continuity issues that may not be “mistakes” or “errors” but may actually be deliberate to show “breaks” in Rose Cotter’s consciousness/sanity. The opening and closing Paramount logos have a curved smile-shaped line at the base of the mountain.

LollipopWritten by Beverly Ross & Julius Dixon performed by The Chordettes. Sosie Bacon plays an incompetent therapist who mutters platitudes and does nothing while bad things happen to her patients. After demonstrating her inability to administer basic first aid to anyone within a fifty-mile radius, she becomes aware of a case of ghosts.
This is silly drivel, but it’s excellently produced
The ghosts then follow her around creepily and without doing much, perhaps as an ironic form of mockery. None of the characters, supernatural or not, seem to be any good at their jobs. Decent acting, good photography, tight editing, and engaging direction.
It’s worth seeing, once, just for fun
It’s a good time, despite the brainless characters, copy-and-paste writing, awful dialogue, and endless cliches. It’s a fun and occasionally effective pulpy, bouncing horror: a highly polished turd that’s so shiny you can’t even smell it.
